Hand Therapy & Occupational Therapy

Mesa Physical Therapy is proud to offer the San Diego community with high quality Hand Therapy & Occupational Therapy that is customized according to each patient’s individual functional goals. Our Hand and Occupational Therapy Department includes a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and offers a whole team specializing in the treatment of the upper extremities, including: the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Our team’s advanced training and experience makes them uniquely qualified to be able to provide patients with upper extremity injuries with the best chance for a successful recovery.

The primary goal of our Hand & Occupational Therapy Program is simple; it is to help you heal so that you can go back to doing the daily activities that you find fulfilling and meaningful. The goals for your path to recovery will be set during your initial evaluation. This is when your Hand Therapist or Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) will learn about the activities that you value and enjoy. The Hand Therapists of Mesa Physical Therapy understand that the key to a successful outcome is centered around getting to know you and designing an individualized plan of care that will get you back to your lifestyle.

At Mesa Physical Therapy, our Hand & Occupational Therapy Program focuses on: guiding patients through the rehabilitation process and giving them the confidence they need to take responsibility for their own care. We are committed to offering a safe, friendly and positive environment where patients can experience their own path to recovery and return to full functionality.

I can't say enough good things about the staff there. Everyone was extremely friendly and always smiling.  They made every visit enjoyable and I looked forward to each appointment. The office is in a great location that was easy to access and there was always parking available.  The therapy provided for my hand injury was excellent. I left each appointment with my hand feeling better and could really see the progress. I am almost disappointed that I have healed enough to no longer need their services and will miss visiting them regularly.
